DESCRIPTION:The Mano a Mano Latinx Educator Summer Learning Community is designed for Latinx educators to connect\, support each other’s personal and professional journeys\, and experience growth through social discussions and group activities. \nThe Mano a Mano series is designed to empower and inspire Latinx educators to embrace our unique identities and help build connections among peers\, enhance mental health\, and develop classroom skills\, all for students’ benefit. \nThe Mano a Mano series consists of four in-person sessions\, from June to July. Be sure to check out the whole series and choose as many as you’d like to participate in. \nMano a Mano: Showing up Authentically \nFriday\, July 14th – 12 pm – 2 pm – 2203 Lexington Ave. KCMO 64124 \nLet’s celebrate our identities and unique perspectives as Latinx educators and offer strategies for navigating professional spaces while remaining rooted and true to our identity.
