New location! New name! Same great recruitment event! Join us for the second annual Career and Internship Expo at Washburn University. The expo is taking place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center at Washburn University.
Welcome to recruiting at Washburn! Promote your organization and recruit full-time, part-time, and intern employees. Visit with Washburn students and alumni and members of the Topeka community. Increase your visibility on the WU campus!
This event will also be attended by students doing career research: finding out what employers are seeking, what career fairs are all about, and so forth. Career Engagement has partnered with Washburn University First Year Experience to ensure that all First-Year students at Washburn be present at the event. Please be patient and help them with their questions – they may be your job-seekers next time! We expect around 1000 students, faculty, staff, and/or community members to be in attendance.

Lunch will be boxed sandwiches. Unfortunately, we are unable to modify the catering order to accommodate individual dietary requests.

If circumstances dictate that we limit the number of participating employers, the cut-off will be determined by the registration date.
NOTE: If you represent a school district, this IS your fair. There will not be a separate career fair for education this semester.
NOTE: If you are a healthcare employer, there will also be a health care career fair on October 8 – you are welcome to attend one or both fairs. Registration for that fair will be open soon.
NOTE: Due to space constraints, this year this event is not open to external graduate programs.
