Teachers Like Me aims to increase the number of Black teachers by removing barriers to entry and providing the support needed to be effective and responsive to the academic and social needs of all students, specifically students of color.
Mission:
Recruit college of education graduates from partner universities and high school students looking to pursue a bachelor’s degree in education.
Develop a strong instructional pedagogy with a culturally responsive lens.
Retain teachers by filling the needs of teachers and making sure we retain them in our schools through support and an earned bonus each year.

About:
BLOC connects black male educators through intentional social and networking meetings, professional development curated specifically for black men in education, and engaging black men in the communities through mentoring, volunteer work, and tutoring opportunities. In the last 5 years, BLOC has retained 100% of its members.

Latinx Education Collaborative
Mission:
The LEC mission is to increase the number of Latinx educators in K-12 classrooms. Through our Pipeline Program resource, we can support Latinx folks who are interested in becoming certified to teach.
Vision:
Our vision is to build a world where Latinx Educators are abundant and thriving. The LEC believes that representation is a key element in creating successful outcomes.
